Privacy & POPIA Notice
This notice explains how 67M Leads, operated by 67M Business Media, handles personal information when customers request quotations and providers use the lead marketplace.
Information we collect
Customer information may include a name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, city, province, service requirements, project details, budget and preferred date. Provider information may include contact details, business information, service categories, account activity, credit transactions, quotations and payment records.
Why we use it
We process information to receive and match service requests, operate provider accounts, notify relevant providers, enable lead unlocking, facilitate quotations, process credit purchases, prevent abuse, provide support and keep records required for operational, accounting or legal purposes.
How lead unlocking works
A customer’s contact details are not displayed publicly. Registered providers initially see limited lead information. A provider who chooses to unlock a matched lead using credits can receive the customer contact details needed to respond to that request.
Sharing and processors
Relevant information may be shared with providers who unlock a lead and with service providers that support hosting, email delivery, payment processing, security and administration. 67M Leads does not sell personal information as an unrelated marketing list.
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the marketplace, support, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations, after which it may be deleted or de-identified.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to or correction of your information, object to certain processing, or request deletion where legally and operationally permissible. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator.
Safe use of the platform
Do not include passwords, bank card details, identity-document numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information in the initial service description. Share additional documents only with a provider you have chosen and through an appropriate secure method.
